Shelborne-Barfield

A native of the Rockaways in Queens, New York. An educator, public speaker, and respected community leader. After a long career with NYC Department of Education as a Middle School Math Teacher; Math Coach; Curriculum and Data Specialist Lynette has since began a career in government having the opportunity to first serve in the New York State Senate as Constituent Liaison and later promoted to Director of Special Projects. Presently Lynette serves as District Director with the New York City Council. Lynette is a licensed minister and member of several notable organizations and a recipient of many community awards and recognitions.
